The experience
Visit IAM Illusion Art Museum Prague, an interactive art museum in Prague's Old Town, just a two-minute walk from Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock. A five-time Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice recipient, it was the first museum in the Czech Republic dedicated to illusion and trick art.
The museum combines historic illusion-making techniques with original works by Czech and international artists, including Patrik Proško, Jonty Hurwitz, Patrick Hughes, Ivana Štenclová and Florian Goerlitz. Many exhibits are inspired by Czech history and culture, featuring figures such as Franz Kafka, Antonín Dvořák, and Václav Havel.
You can touch, explore, and photograph the exhibits. Museum guides are available to explain how the illusions work, show you the best viewing angles, and help you take photos. An audio guide is also available in more than 10 languages.
The museum is an indoor, air-conditioned attraction that takes about one hour to explore.
