Trek, drive, and cable-car your way to the crater of Mount Etna
The experience
The climb to the Summit Craters is a unique life experience that has as its subject and location the North Side of Etna.
In the town of Piano Provenzana, your guide will take a few minutes to go through a safety briefing. Then, the climb will take place with the use of special 4X4 vehicles (available for an extra fee) to lead you to an altitude of 2950 m.
After taking some photos of the landscape, the trek will go towards the ancient and recent lava fields to reach the edge of the Summit Craters
at an altitude of 3330 m.
The climb continues across the entire Summit area, admiring the craters of the North-East, the South-East, the Bocca Nuova, and the Voragine. The trek around the summit area could change depending on the recent volcanic activity.
The descent continues through volcanic sands to reach Piano delle Concazze. The breathtaking panorama will show the Valle del Leone
and the most famous Valle del Bove, giving participants a unique and unforgettable view.

This trek is not suitable for pregnant women who are past their third trimester. It is also not suitable for people with heart disease, asthma, and vertigo
