You can stick to the grand, café-lined promenades of Vienna. But off the tourist trail, there's plenty more to see.
This day's excursion takes you from Vienna to postcard-perfect Wachau, along the famous Danube River.
In winter, you'll have lunch and an extended look around Krems and Dürnstein. In summer, embark on a boat ride down the Danube to see the best of the valley from the water.

- Winter: Guided tour at Melk Abbey and walking tour through Krem and Dürnstein (from 4 November until 29 March)
- Summer: Boat tour and visit to Dürnstein and Spitz-Melk (from 30 March until 3 November)
- During summer season, a combo ticket is available, which includes both the guided visit to the Melk Abbey, and the boat ride
