Scale the roof of an Australian sporting icon for spectacular views

How about some adrenaline to go with your sightseeing? A RoofClimb Adelaide Oval experience provides 360° views of the city's coastline and rolling countryside, as well as the opportunity to see the Oval's hallowed turf from a unique vantage point.

Harness up and stroll across the Western Stand, peering down at the site of iconic cricketing battles and Aussie rules face-offs. Admire the stadium's award-winning architecture, and head to the Riverbank Platform to see the best seats in the house. Opt for a daytime, twilight, or nighttime climb!

Important visitor information

Must know

Children (Age: 8-15) must be accompanied by supervising adult (max. 3 Children per Adult).

Before purchase

Min. age: 8 years. Medical clearance required for 75+

Max. weight: 136 kg, min. height: 120 cm

Women >20 weeks pregnant cannot participate, <20 weeks a Medical Clearance Form is required

Good to know

A medical Clearance Form signed by a doctor is required if you:

are less than 20 weeks pregnant (not allowed if over 20 weeks)

are over the age of 75 years

suffer from any heart condition or respiratory condition

are missing or partly missing any limb

suffer from vertigo, dizziness or loss of balance

suffer from epilepsy or any neurological condition

suffer from an acute gastrointestinal condition

How to use

Show your smartphone ticket at the ticket office.

The RoofClimb Centre is located on level 1 of the Riverbank Stand at Adelaide Oval.
