Go nose-to-nose with predators of the deep at Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium
No cages here – just you and the sharks, nose-to-nose in the waters of SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium.
This incredible Shark Dive Xtreme experience grants you a unique opportunity to swim with multiple species of shark and giant stingrays too. Your SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium shark dive ticket also sees you go behind the scenes to get an understanding of what it's like working with these toothy characters, before you take the plunge into their underwater world.
Once your adventure is over, you can explore the rest of SEA LIFE Melbourne. It's a multicoloured marine menagerie, home to crocodiles, penguins, sea stars, and loads more fascinating sea creatures.

Important visitor information
Must know
It is important that you are in good health and have a reasonable degree of swimming ability
Do not drink alcohol the night before your dive
Do not fly in an aircraft within 12 hours of your dive
Not suitable for pregnant women or women planning to become pregnant
Before purchase
Minimum age: 14 years. All divers must be 14 or over
Guests under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
You must be able to lift and walk with approximately 35 kg
Good to know
If you are booking a dive or purchasing a gift voucher for another person, please ensure they are aware of all the terms and conditions
All divers are advised to read our Shark Dive Xtreme terms and conditions before booking
If you have a pre-existing condition but want to dive, you must get medical clearance before your experience from a qualified dive doctor
10:00 and 11:00 sessions will have an 8:45 check-in for a 9:00 brief
14:30 and 15:30 sessions will have a 13:15 check-in for a 13:30 brief
You can visit the aquarium after the dive experience
How to use
Show your mobile ticket to the staff at the entrance
Guests under age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian attending check-in and the safety briefing (they do not need to complete the dive)
Divers must submit a medical declaration before booking at experiences@melbourneaquarium.com.au
