The experience

Visit a spot for sea life, with touch pools and displays of aquatic ecosystems

Downtown Aquarium Houston is more than just an aquarium. It's an aquatic experience, theme park, educational attraction, retail store, and restaurant rolled into one.

Your ticket includes access to the Aquarium Adventure Exhibit, Stingray Reef, and all the rides, including the Ferris wheel and Lighthouse Dive.

Inside the aquarium, you'll find everything from turtles and sharks to Nemo-like clownfish. Walk from zone to zone, taking in Shipwreck, Rainforest, and the Sunken Temple exhibits. You'll even meet tigers at the Maharaja’s Temple!

Important visitor information

Must know

Service animals are welcome in most areas of the Downtown Aquarium at no additional charge (except for the tiger exhibit)

The parking lot is directly behind the aquarium; it's a cashless lot

Before purchase

Children 2 and under are free

Good to know

To enter a ride queue line, guests must have a ticket for that particular ride or be wearing an all-day ride wristband (or accompanying a child)

Specific restrictions apply to each ride. Height check is available at each ride

Guests with disabilities will need to speak with a ride attendant before riding

How to use

Show your smartphone ticket and valid ID to receive a wristband at the ticket booth or Will Call window.
