The experience
Did you know that Bath is the official birthplace of Frankenstein?
Visit the origins of the world’s most famous monster and experience The House of Frankenstein’s multi-sensory museum and Escape Rooms. Here, you will discover the true story of author Mary Shelley, who wrote the novel whilst living in Bath in 1816. Learn about her tragic life and the global legacy of her infamous creation.
Bursting with unusual artifacts, emotive soundtracks, bespoke scents and effects, it also features rooms dedicated to popular culture, a screening room showing the first-ever Frankenstein film from 1910, an 8 ft animated creature, two themed Escape Rooms, and a creepy walkthrough experience in the basement.
