The experience
Join a 1-hour cruise on Lake Minnewanka, one of Banff’s most well-known locations. The area has over 10,000 years of human history, and boat tours have been operating here for more than a century.
Led by experienced captains, the cruise covers the lake’s history, geology, wildlife, and key local stories. Enjoy views from the water as you travel through Canada’s first national park.
Along the way, the crew shares information about the area’s past, including the story of Minnewanka Landing.

The primary boat dock for the Lake Minnewanka Cruise is situated at the western end of Lake Minnewanka, approximately a 15-minute drive from Banff along the Minnewanka Loop Road
The area also offers amenities such as restrooms and the Black Anchor Snack Shop for refreshments. Given the lake's popularity, especially during peak seasons, parking can be limited
