Picture this: dramatic cliffs, crashing waves, wild sea spray and an orange sun sinking below the horizon. If the setting of Tanah Lot wasn’t enough, the temple itself is bound to inspire you on this afternoon adventure to one of Bali’s best-loved spots.

Dedicated to the Gods of the sea, Tanah Lot dates back over 400 years. Your tour guide will explain the legend surrounding the high priest, Dang Hyang Niratha, who came to Bali to spread Hinduism. After resistance from the villagers, he moved a large rock into the sea with the power of meditation, or so the story goes.

Whether it’s true or not, the craggy rock temple out at sea is truly spectacular. Once you’ve snapped your photos, sit back and watch a classic Tanah Lot sunset as the blue sky turns to pink and orange hues.

Once the sunset show is over, you'll be transferred back to your accommodation. The perfect end to a day in paradise!
