Wat's that? You don't like crowds? Luckily this half-day tour to Wat Umong and Doi Suthep temples gets you there in the late afternoon when most other tourists have already gone home!

Be picked up from your hotel in Chiang Mai city center and head straight there, where you can get straight on with exploring the underground tunnels. Bask in the beauty of the temple, and enjoy the forest surroundings, where the trees are said to whisper words of wisdom for passers-by.

After Wat Umong, the next stop is Doi Suthep temple. Prepare to climb the 306-step staircase - the rewards are worth it! Hopefully the sunset will light up the golden temple, but either way the views of Chiang Mai at night from the summit of the mountain are amazing.
