Amongst its collection stands Horridus, a remarkably preserved Triceratops known as the world's finest specimen, the award-winning First Peoples exhibition, and the Forest Gallery featuring a thriving rainforest habitat for diverse Australian animals.

At the very heart of the museum lies the captivating Forest Gallery, a thriving southern rainforest that serves as a habitat for diverse Australian avian, reptilian, and amphibian species.
