The experience

Visit an artistic complex; Carl and Olga Milles' park, studio, and gallery

The Millesgården Museum was Carl and Olga Milles's former studio and residency. Today, it is a one-of-a-kind museum with different sections.

Its sprawling sculpture park and fountain are decorated with Carl Milles' sculptures. Also open to the public is the artists' home with, among other things, Carl Mille's studio and antique collection. The indoor art gallery also presents different temporary exhibitions every year.

After an exploration of the museum's art, take a leisurely pause at the charming café, have a delightful lunch, or seek out a tranquil corner in the verdant park to unwind and soak in the serene surroundings.

Subway to Ropsten, then bus 201, 202, 204, 206, 211, 212, 221 to Torsviks torg Then about 7 minutes walk to Millesgården. Follow the signs

A slightly shorter walking distance is achieved if you get off the bus at Torsviks torg, walk about 200 m to Stjärnvägen and there change to bus 238, which stops at Millesgården

Instead of a bus, you can take the Lidingöbanan. Line 21 runs from subway Ropsten to Torsvik & Baggeby, Millesgården is between these two stations. Then about 10 minutes walk to Millesgården
