The experience
The Pantheon in Rome is over 2,000 years old and is a perfect example of ancient Roman craftsmanship and skill. Built under orders from Emperor Hadrian, it was once a temple for Rome's gods.
The tall Corinthian columns will grab your attention from the outside, and once inside, the large dome with an open center called the oculus lets in natural light and creates a unique atmosphere.
Walk around admiring the marble floors, grand paintings, and detailed statues – each piece reflecting the greatness of ancient Rome. And in a small group, the tour guide will be able to teach you the history of this iconic destination.
