The experience

Take a guided tour of São Miguel and see its natural landscapes and important sites.

Start at Gorreana Tea Plantation, the oldest tea plantation in Europe, and taste some tea. Then head to Furnas. Explore the valley and take a dip in the hot springs.

Have a traditional lunch in Furnas, with the option to try “Cozido das Furnas.” After lunch, walk around the lagoon.

Visit the viewpoint of the islet of Vila Franca. End the tour in Ponta Delgada by visiting the pineapple plantations.
