The experience

See Top of the Rock with access to 3 observation decks and The Beam

See Central Park and the New York City skyline from above. Take in views of New York City from 70 floors up on three indoor and outdoor observation decks.

With terraces facing east, west, north, and south, Top of the Rock offers views of the Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Central Park, and all five boroughs.

The Top of the Rock experience has been updated with new additions to the observation decks to include Skylift and The Beam Experience. These two new aerial attractions will send visitors soaring for rare perspectives of the 360° skyline views.

The Beam Experience invites visitors to recreate *Lunch atop a Skyscraper*, the iconic 1932 photo depicting 11 ironworkers lunching on a steel beam, 69 stories high, during the construction of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The experience lifts you up at a 12 ft ascent that rotates 180°.

Beam Experience seats 7 guests and may include guests from multiple parties

Wear comfortable shoes and layers

Outside food, drinks, tripods, and weapons are prohibited

Strollers allowed (must be collapsible)

Service animals are allowed

Wheelchairs not permitted on The Beam

Before purchase

Kids aged 0-5: free; no ticket needed; must be with an adult

The Beam: Must be 52 in (132 cm) or taller to ride alone. If under 52 in, must be at least of 42 in (107 cm) and with an adult

Guests may stay as long as desired within operating hours

Elevators are available on all floors

Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available

Maximum weight limit: 300 lbs (136 kg)

How to use

The Top of the Rock’s entrance is located on W 50th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues (entrance marked by a red carpet)

Scan the QR on your mobile voucher at the lobby entrance

For The Beam Experience, show the barcode at the Beam desk on the 69th floor once arriving at the Top of the Rock Observation Deck
