The experience
Find artifacts from ancient Egypt, Greece, and Etruria to modern art pieces in this museum that spans two palaces. Artists like Giotto, Titian, Caravaggio, Da Vinci, Raphael, and Michelangelo have works here.
After passing the Pine Cone, finish your tour at the Sistine Chapel. See Michelangelo's frescoes on the Sistine Chapel ceiling, which are some of the most famous artworks in human history.
Michelangelo painted more than 300 figures on over 500 square meters of the ceiling. He returned 22 years later to paint The Last Judgement on the wall above the altar.
