The experience
Cross the bridge and walk along the Paiva river
Start the day with a convenient pickup from central Porto and head directly to Arouca. In Arouca, there is a brief stop to try local specialities and visit the green area near the monastery.
Travel about 20 minutes from Arouca to the 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge and the Paiva Walkways. Spend the next few hours crossing the bridge and walking along the Paiva River on a wooden walkway.
After the hike, enjoy a lunch featuring local DOP beef and wine. Then, return to Porto with a ride lasting around 90 minutes.
