The experience
Hike to Tijuca Peak, the highest peak in Rio de Janeiro at 1,022 m (3,353 ft) above sea level. Start at the entrance of Tijuca National Park. Walk past a waterfall and follow the trail from Bom Retiro. Hike through the Atlantic Forest for about 1.5 hours to reach the top.
At the summit, see Rio's landmarks like Tijuca Forest, Maracanã Stadium, Guanabara Bay, and the coastline. This tour offers a great chance to hike and see the views over Rio de Janeiro.
