The general admission shows and programs are recommended for ages 8+

Shows at the Planetarium Star Theatre are subject to availability and are only available for daytime admission

Before purchase

Children under 5 must be with a paying adult

Free general admission for self-identifying Indigenous Peoples (onsite only)

Observatory open by donation Wednesday & Friday evenings

How to use

Show your smartphone voucher at the front desk upon arrival

For daytime admission, you will be accommodated at the next available planetarium show time. Please plan to arrive early to check in. Planetarium shows last approximately 45 minutes but are subject to availability.

For evening admission, the tour of the Gordon Southam Observatory is on first come, first served basis and weather permitting

The H.R. MacMillan Space Centre is easily accessible by public transit. If you plan to drive, paid parking is available in front of the Space Centre building (Lot 60)
