The experience
Take the elevator to St. Peter's Dome for views of Vatican City and Rome. Listen to an audio guide that explains the dome’s construction, design, and history.
Walk through St. Peter’s Basilica and learn about its architecture and art with the help of the audio guide.
*NOTE**: Even though you will reach the Dome by elevator, accessing the elevator still requires climbing 320 steps to the top.

All guests must pass through mandatory airport-style security. During peak season, wait times can reach up to 2–3 hours
Shoulders and knees must be covered; non-compliant clothing may result in denied entry
Please note that even accessing the elevator requires climbing 320 steps
Provide each participant’s full name as it appears on the passport
Tickets are nominative and valid only for the assigned participant
Not allowed: Shorts, short skirts, sleeveless shirts, baby strollers, large bags/luggage, backpacks, umbrellas, tripods, animals, or any potentially dangerous objects
Not suitable for: wheelchair users, people with walking difficulties, heart problems, vertigo, pregnant women, and those with claustrophobia
Some parts might not be accessible and are subject to unexpected closures until further notice due to site’s restrictions
The St. Peter’s Dome might not be accessible during bad weather conditions
Internet access is mandatory
Entrance to the Basilica is free. This ticket grants access through a designated entry point but does not include skip-the-line privileges
Our staff will accompany you to the queue but will not provide a guided tour or commentary
Provide full name and date of birth as on your passport when booking
The meeting point is near the arches, where the square meets Via di Porta Angelica, left-hand corner
Staff will meet you at the black tables of Caffè Leonina, holding a 'Loving Rome' flag
Arrive 15–20 minutes before the activity starts; late arrivals or no-shows cannot be accommodated or refunded
Bring a valid ID or passport for verification, headsets, and a fully charged phone
The audio guide is sent directly by the supplier. If, for any reason, you don't receive it in advance, you will be assisted with downloading the digital audio guide at the meeting point
