Visit Versailles to see the main palace, which contains over 700 rooms, 18th-century French art, an opera house, and the Hall of Mirrors.

Roam the incredible gardens, designed with manicured lawns and baroque fountains.

You'll also visit the areas close to the Grand and Petit Trianon, including the Queen's Hamlet, a replica village built for Marie Antoinette, which served as her personal retreat.

Must know

Lockers are available for small items (46x43x26 cm)

Due to high temperatures (21–26 June), the Palace, Gardens, Coaches Gallery, and Royal Tennis Court will close at 16:30 (last entry: 15:00)

Estate of Trianon will close at 16:15 (last entry: 15:00)

Park will remain open until 20:30

Discounted entry: teachers with pass, disabled visitors and carer, and French job seekers on specific dates

How to use

Show your smartphone ticket at entrance 'A'

During busy times, there may be multiple lines; check the signs at the front for your timeslot

Arrive on time; late arrivals past 30 minutes of the timeslot are not allowed

Tickets are non-exchangeable, and re-entry is prohibited

Some fountains or shows may close early; confirm schedules with an agent upon arrival

If you selected the last timeslot (2 hours before closing), arrive earlier to visit the gardens first, before the Palace
