The experience

Visit a historic chapel and view a renowned wooden altarpiece

Visit the church to view the Gothic art showcased within, such as the 15th century statue of the Black Christ, a revered Gothic sculpture significant in the community of Cáceres.

Observe the two main entrances of the cathedral. The primary one, located on the Gospel side and accessible from the Plaza Mayor, features a pointed Gothic arch constructed between the 13th and 14th centuries.

Additionally, take into account the main altarpiece, crafted from cedar and oak, which is a recognized piece of Spanish Renaissance artwork. Climb the three-story Renaissance-style tower to complete the tour of this historic site.
