The experience

Walk on frozen sea and float in Arctic water

Board the *Arctic Explorer,* an industrial icebreaker ship that takes you through the frozen waters of the Gulf of Bothnia from Axelsvik in Lapland.

This ship, once built for industrial use, is now dedicated to explorers and carries up to 80 passengers per trip.

Transportation is organized via a shared shuttle between Rovaniemi and Axelsvik Harbour.

Participate in a safety briefing and put on a survival suit before departure. Travel through sea ice and have the opportunity to stand on the ice surface near the ship when permitted.

Additionally, experience floating in Arctic water while remaining comfortably warm in your survival suit.

Onboard facilities include a cafe, providing beverages for warmth. A multilingual guidebook is available for detailed information along the journey.
