Palace of Holyroodhouse is open 7 days from Jul to Sept, all other times it is closed on Tues and Weds with more closures on May 16-25, and June 27 - 5 July.

On the opposite side of the starting point bus stop, at 19 Waterloo Place, Edinburgh EH1 3EG, you can find the TourHub – an information centre where staff will be happy to assist and validate customer vouchers.

How to use

Show your Tiqets voucher at the starting point: Waterloo Place

Edinburgh Bus Tour staff will issue an actual Royal Edinburgh Ticket and will reserve an Edinburgh Castle entry slot for you

You will visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse and Royal Britannia when you choose, using the same ticket issued by the Edinburgh Bus Tour staff

When the Palace of Holyroodhouse is closed for royal visits, entry to The King’s Gallery will be offered instead

Entry to King’s Gallery is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
