Important visitor information

Must know

Roof restoration works are ongoing until the first quarter of 2027. Scaffolding and a temporary covering are in place, but the monument remains accessible

No animals are allowed in, except guide dogs

Flash photography and tripods aren't allowed inside the palace

Before purchase

Children under 6 get in free, please select a ticket for them

Reduced tickets for children 6-18 and seniors 65+ are available onsite

How to use

Show your smartphone voucher at the entrance

Keep your ticket handy throughout the visit

Take the train to Sintra from Oriente, Rossio or Entrecampos Station in Lisbon

When in Sintra, take the Scotturb bus #435 to Monserrate
