The experience
Skip the ticket line at La Cité du Vin and explore wine culture at your own pace.
This self-guided visit includes access to 20 themed areas spread across 3,000 sq m. An audio guide is available in several languages to help you through the exhibits.
Learn how wine production began in the Caucasus region and spread across the Mediterranean and Western Europe. Discover how wine became part of cultures around the world, including regions outside France.
The exhibition features interactive displays where you can explore aromas, flavors, and key moments in wine history.
Your visit also includes a glass of wine at the 8th-floor Belvédère, where you can enjoy views over Bordeaux.
