Must know

You will visit the Catacombs of St Callixtus, except on Wednesdays when you will visit the Catacombs of Santa Domitilla

A dress code is required: shoulders and knees must be covered

Please bring a valid ID or passport

Before purchase

Children under 5 and visitor with disabilities can join for free

Not recommended for visitors who suffer from claustrophobia

It includes a long-distance walk, stairs & climbing

Good to know

Catacombs are holy places, so please dress appropriately. It's best to also have a light jacket, as it can get cold underground

The tour is not accessible to visitors in wheelchairs or with severe motor disabilities

Please note that the Capuchin Crypt is adorned with bones (human remains), consider this when booking if you are sensitive to such displays

How to use

Show your smartphone ticket at the Touristation office Aracoeli at Piazza Ara Coeli 16

Look for a fountain under restoration and orange flags outside the office

Metro B Colosseo stop is not recommended. Take any bus or tram to Piazza Ara Coeli, next to Venice Square

Please report 15 min before the time indicated on the voucher

The staff will provide you with all the details of the attractions included in your reservation

You will need to leave an ID card as a deposit for the Capuchin Crypt audioguide
