The experience
Prepare for a day tour of Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains. The early medieval monastery ruins at Glendalough are a highlight, surrounded by forested hillsides and crystal lakes.
This tour starts in Dublin at 9:30 with a drive through the countryside. The first stop is Powerscourt Waterfall, where you’ll have up to an hour to look around and take photos.
Head to Glendalough Monastery, founded in the 6th century, with two hours to explore and get lunch (at your own expense). The tour ends with a sheepdog demonstration before returning to Dublin.
