The experience

Snorkel in the beautiful Great Barrier Reef and enjoy a buffet lunch

Start your morning on the deck of a catamaran with a coffee in hand and the great barrier reef on the horizon. By 09:00 you'll be on the open water being briefed on how to snorkel and learning about reef life from a marine biologist.

You'll arrive at Michaelmas Cay around 10:30. A shuttle will whisk you between the boat and the island all-day. Lie back and watch the birdlife or explore the reef with a snorkel or an introductory dive (additional cost). Back on board, a buffet lunch awaits!

Important visitor information

Must know

If unsafe to sail, you'll be given a full refund or rebooked on a different date

After a single dive, a wait of 12 hours is recommended before flying; 24 hours for multiple dives

Fuel surcharge due to rising fuel costs in Australia must be paid at check-in from April 1, until further notice

Before purchase

Minimum age for scuba diving: 12 years

Children under 4 years join free, please select a free ticket for them

All participants must complete a health questionnaire prior to diving

How to use

Show your smartphone ticket at the Ocean Spirit counter at Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal (see map), and collect your boarding pass

Make sure to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure for stress-free check-in and boarding. Cruise departs at 08:30 sharp

Arrival back at Reef Fleet Terminal is at approximately 17:00
