Experience the majesty of the Swiss Alps by coach, cable car, train, and boat

Depart for a full-day trip with a lovely coach ride along the shores of beautiful Lake Lucerne to Weggis, a charming summer resort on the Lucerne Riviera.

Board the aerial cableway to Rigi Kaltbad and enjoy a breathtaking vista of pristine Lake Lucerne. Change for Europe's first-ever mountain railway to Rigi-Kulm at 1,797 m a.s.l. The unsurpassed views from the summit over the Swiss Midlands with its deep blue lakes and the snow-capped mountain range of the Alps will overwhelm you!

Stop for a moment and take in the views at Rigi, also known as Queen of Mountains, before you descend to Vitznau by cogwheel train. Dock at the Lucerne pier and stroll through the medieval streets of the Old Town.

09.03.-02.04.26 | 16.-27.11.26 | 8.-31.03.27. During those dates, the cable car will be under revision, guests will go to the mountain with the cogwheel train from Vitznau

Good to know

The tour is accompanied by guide from Zurich to Weggis and from Lucerne to Zurich. The guide does not accompany you up Mount Rigi or on the boat ride to Lucerne

For the individual ascent and descent at Mt Rigi and the boat ride back to Lucerne, tickets and a written itinerary are provided

How to use

The departure place is the Sihlquai Bus Station (Limmatstrasse 2), located behind the train station, in front of the Hotel Fred

You will need to check in at the counter marked with “Best of Switzerland Tours”

Please have the QR code on your voucher ready and present it printed or electronically on your smartphone or tablet
