The experience
Step into the world of 1926 and discover Cologne at the height of the Golden Twenties. This 45-minute indoor experience combines authentic sets, storytelling, and virtual reality.
Your journey begins in a historic cinema, where a newsreel introduces the atmosphere of the 1920s. Continue to a milliner's workshop to learn about the fashion, craftsmanship, and everyday life of the period while helping save Cologne's Carnival.
The experience concludes with a virtual reality tram ride aboard a faithfully recreated historic streetcar. As the vehicle travels through the streets, complete with motion and wind effects, you'll enjoy 360° views of Cologne before the destruction of the Second World War, including the city's squares, architecture, and street life.
Meet local characters, explore authentic locations, and experience this period of history through immersive technology and storytelling.
