Tickets are free on Sundays and national public holidays for all residents in Portugal. Go to the monument's ticket office on the day of your visit and show your Citizen Card.

Getting there:

By foot: About 45 minutes walking from the center of Sintra

Bus: Scotturb Line 434 (Pena circuit) from Sintra Train Station

Train from Lisbon (Estação do Oriente, Estação do Rossio, or Estação de Entrecampos)

Please note that the venue is **not reachable by car**

How to use

Show your smartphone ticket at the Porta Férrea entrance

Visit the park at any time; your time slot applies only to the palace

Allow 30 minutes to walk from the park to the palace

*Access via the Pena Ramp is temporarily unavailable:**

From Largo de São Pedro, use Calçada da Pena to reach the entrance

From Santa Eufémia Park, use the pedestrian route via the Santa Eufémia Chapel to Casa da Lapa

*Transfer services:**

A paid shuttle runs every 15 minutes between the park entrance and the palace. Wheelchair accessible

A free hop-on hop-off shuttle runs between the Palace and the Chalet of the Countess of Edla. Show your entry ticket to board
