The experience
Visit the Oceanário de Lisboa to explore the underwater world. Discover 8,000 sea creatures from 500 species.
The permanent exhibition features a central **5-million-liter saltwater aquarium**, surrounded by habitats from the North Atlantic, Antarctic, Temperate Pacific, and Tropical Indian Ocean. It creates the effect of one continuous ocean.
Your visit covers two levels: terrestrial and underwater, showing different ocean climates such as temperate, tropical, and cold waters.
See the **Forests Underwater** by Takashi Amano, showcasing tropical forests in the largest nature aquarium, and explore the **Submerged Universe** exhibition for an immersive ocean experience.
